Authoritarian corporatists are a reiteration of the same oppressive, aristocratic forces that ruled Europe for centuries and rule other places even today. They have no visceral taste for democracy, but we do. We took them on before and we will take them on again. And we will win.

We can only win if we find a way to bring them along.

No, authoritarian corporatists don't want to be "brought along." If they did, they wouldn't be authoritarian corporatists.

I have to believe that at some point in our collective history, love wins, hierarchies of power and greed becomes a thing of the past & restorative justice is the law of the land.

They tend to believe that a government of by and for the people would somehow disempower or enslave them. The ultimate horror. Yet they have no problem exploiting and disenfranchising other people in authoritarian and unjust ways to stay in "power".

Authoritarian regimes find it very useful to remake citizens in their own image. So if they can whip up enough hate on all sides then we and they become enslaved to the demon of hatred. We forfeit our freedom willingly. Or we choose not to.
