To disagree with a person is not to “attack” them. To call out evil doesn’t mean you’re being “judgmental”. And to use spirituality as a justification for political complacency is not holy.

Thank you so, so, so very much for this. I am so sick of "spiritual white women" using their spirituality for complacency. Yoga's ahimsa is being used all wrong. And we MUST call out evil. It doesn't make us evil to call it out. You are the real deal.

Thank you! Gandhi saw ahimsa as the power behind the Indian Independence movement — not as a reason not to do it.

Yes and it goes both ways, that's something liberals do not agree with! It's their way or you're wrong. What happened to respectfully agreeing to disagree!!! Gone forever in the midst of this morally deficient society!!!

Make sure you apply that ^ equally to both sides.

And to use your emotional intelligence to remain calm doesn't mean you're subservient. Being kind or taking the high road doesn't mean you're dumb.

I have worked as an advocate for women & girls who haven’t sexually assaulted and/or raped. I also live in a little town in NC at the end of the earth. I get called negative often. I will continue to speak up - for Dr. Ford and all of us. NO means NO!

I LOVE THAT as ALLways you shine! Thoughts (spiritual) & Prayers (evangelical) without action on the ground is lazy & a cop out. We’re well beyond Ohming & awing our way out of our current disorder/anarchy.

Hear the thundering heartbeat, the chorus of women's voices echoing through the chambers of the heart of our governing body. A holy chant trembling with an ancient pain, a strangled rage, that is summoning the Divine Feminine to heal us all. #HearUsNow
