Wow. The Senate committee has just requested the White House to ask for an FBI investigation. Moments like this are important — we should celebrate the moments when the system works, just like we should protest the moments when it doesn’t.

The FBI has previously denied a request to investigate primarily because it is outside its jurisdiction. When will we find leaders that have a clue how this government works. Hint - it’s not by a social media witch hunt.

Senator Feinstein is saying her office requested the FBI to look at this and the FBI would not. Either way it’s still not within their jurisdiction

It has to be requested by the president. The Senate committee has now asked the president to request it.
