Jeff Flake says he wants the FBI to have up to one week to investigate the charges before the final vote is taken. He is trying to save the integrity and moral authority of the Republican Party; I hope he succeeds.

I've been hard on Flake, but if he's truly trying to resolve this in a bipartisan way, then I give him credit. We may never really know what happened, but at least it feels more fair.
