Innocent until proven guilty? Absolutely! But without an FBI investigation he cannot be proved innocent OR guilty. Those who don’t want an FBI investigation don’t really want the truth.

The FBI is an investigative agency, and they would do the investigation if asked to by either the Congressional Committee or the White House. There's no "original jurisdiction" here.
