You have no crime scene, every “witness” listed by Ford has refuted her story or claimed no knowledge. It is incumbent on Ford to provide something to investigate other than her word which has changed over time .

What will the FBI find they haven’t after 6 background checks already? What will they find when the plaintiff can’t herself find corroboration, nor remember details (true of both plaintiffs). One plaintiff even called former classmates none of whom remembered anything.

For criminal charges yes but not in the case of a job interview which is what this essentially is. If he was being hired for a company and these allegations came to light he most likely would not be hired. Also he could be fired from a company based just on allegations.

This is in reference to the character of a prospective lifetime appointment but to these nation's highest bench. Character is an integral assessment component of these proceedings, not just criminality.

The culture of rape and abuse of which he was an exemplar and purports to be the proving ground for such an upstanding jurist is on full display and deserves scrutiny as well.
