Sounds right. It’s part of the affliction to what has been termed the “tyranny of the majority”. The current majority invalidates real truth & replaces truth with a convenient truth.

Actually, what is happening now is tyranny by the minority. That’s what happens when too many people don’t vote.

And when minority has an interest that as few people vote by enacting voter suppression moves and gerrymandering. Minority is choosing its voters..... kind of opposite of democracy.
