We are living in strange times, where just being kind to each other doesn’t seem to be as important as “letting go toxic people.” Sometimes the issue isn’t that the other person is objectively toxic so much as that we ourselves are so judgmental.

Many homeless brothers I was trying to help stole from me and were threatening. Toxic definitely describes this and I had to let them go, these folks I cared about. I was coming from compassionate and spiritual place but that didnt seem to matter. I have been grieving over this.

So true! I noticed the less judgmental I became the more understanding I've become. 💞

We need to be judgmental for ourselves not of other people.

Isn’t it true that the toxicity I see in other people is a reflection of my own? I should be grateful to them for showing me I have more work to do. I’m not sure what that work is but I’m willing.

Yes & no. I have had toxic people in my life, and let go of them. Some I have learned the good out weigh the bad. They are in my life, but at a comfortable distance.

We live in #strangedays where egotists probe their power to make themselves feel strong and mighty. It's not the words that matter, but other people's paychecks. I wish people would give more second chances and experience more of Christ's forgiveness for us all. He died 4 u.
