We are living in strange times, where just being kind to each other doesn’t seem to be as important as “letting go toxic people.” Sometimes the issue isn’t that the other person is objectively toxic so much as that we ourselves are so judgmental.

MW I appreciate your spiritual insights but at times I am perplexed at your application. This post is about judging others, yet you seem to make a lot of judgments about people who politically disagree with you. Or am I being judgmental? :)

I get this. Sometimes, in a situation that may trigger someone to being back an old state of mind (toxic) does not make them a toxic person. Some understanding can get them back on track. We are still human beings.

I agree, there is a trend. Of course one needs to be wise and discerning in all relationships, but there is a lot of judgement without looking inward. Great book called Radical Forgiveness that puts it into perspective.
