It’s a given that this perp was an illegal alien and should have been deported. He violated the law & also committed a felony by obtaining / using fake ID docs. This has nothing to do with hiking. He could have killed her anywhere. It has to do with our federal laws.

I refuse to believe we cannot evolve to a higher standard. Why not create a world where women need not live in fear of doing ordinary things by ourselves? Let’s just agree that we are all allowed to hike, take an Uber, or go to a meeting w a male colleague w/o fear of assault.
