Confederate flag to a black person is like a Nazi flag to a Jew; such symbols need to be removed. Confederate statues could be in a museum, replaced by winning submissions in a contest to create great contemporary art to replace them. We can respond to the past & reset the future

The shocking twist is their are brain washed n psychological downtrodden blacks who defend the flag, thereby honoring global supremacy.. Jews collectively shunned the hate symbols

In a museum next to a display of Sherman's March, to remind them who lost, with maybe a nod to the 1st Alabama Cavalry, white southerners who stayed loyal to the Union

Nazi symbols are illegal in Germany and much of Europe because of the hate and terror they represent. I wish we had the sense to do the here

To any decent human being: Confederate flag = hatred + racism; Nazi flag = hatred + racism. They also mean these things to the indecent human beings who display them. Color, race, religion not relevant to meaning of despicable symbols.

I wish the state of Florida would change its flag

A memorial to Heather Heyer would be appropriate. A reminder, perhaps, that we must always stand up against hate
Put all Confederate statues at a museum at Appomattox, VA, which is 60 + miles from Charlottesville.
