Confederate flag to a black person is like a Nazi flag to a Jew; such symbols need to be removed. Confederate statues could be in a museum, replaced by winning submissions in a contest to create great contemporary art to replace them. We can respond to the past & reset the future

Mose people don’t realize these “monuments” were put in place as an intimidation tactic for the African American/Black community. They are not trying to honor “heritage” they are honoring hate. Take them down. Stop honoring hate.
