No, Sen. Bunt & every other Republican covering for the President, the President’s attacks on the press – saying “they are the Enemy of the People”, “disgusting,” “sick” etc. - are not just “inappropriate.” They’re dangerous. An attack on the free press is an attack on all of us.

It's the "fake news" media that @realDonaldTrump is constantly referring to, not all press, and the fake news is undeniable. It's irresponsible and "dangerous" to tweet this out without that distinction being made.

“Fake news” means invented stories coming from trolls, usually not even in the US. Mainstream American news sources like CNN are not “fake news.”. And yes, mainstream responsible news sources are exactly what he is attacking.

"Fake news" doesn't denote that the news comes from a foreign source, just that It's not genuine. There is a clear agenda evident to Independent and accurate thinkers, and we are witnessing the self destruction of a large portion of the legacy media because of it.

Fact: The media puts little spins on their reporting quite often. Why can’t they just tell it as it is? They change a little word here and there to meet their agenda. I’ve seen it way too many times. Body of articles don’t support headlines.
