No, Sen. Bunt & every other Republican covering for the President, the President’s attacks on the press – saying “they are the Enemy of the People”, “disgusting,” “sick” etc. - are not just “inappropriate.” They’re dangerous. An attack on the free press is an attack on all of us.

If it was a free press instead of activism dressed up like journalism, I would agree whole heartily with you. We are economy is doing this well, and people are more optimistic about their future, the President deserves some good press.

Even if it were activism dressed up like journalism – and sometimes, on both left and right, that is true – the Free Press is still a cornerstone of American democracy. You don’t get to call the press the “enemy of the people” just because you think it’s unfair to you.

It's the "fake news" media that @realDonaldTrump is constantly referring to, not all press, and the fake news is undeniable. It's irresponsible and "dangerous" to tweet this out without that distinction being made.

“Fake news” means invented stories coming from trolls, usually not even in the US. Mainstream American news sources like CNN are not “fake news.”. And yes, mainstream responsible news sources are exactly what he is attacking.

The free press needs to be a fair press. It's not right now.

At least when Nixon was lying Republicans demanded the truth. Republican Party is now filled with traitors

No dressing it up! When #potus publicly demeans & calls th press "fake" & again publicly states -- "remember what u see & hear isn't happening..." He's in a Twilight Zone, along WW2 Nazis. Don't believe th press, but believe me? Time to wake up & evict him out of WH! #MAGA ❓❓
