Marianne gave a talk at our church in Des Moines last night and I found her perspective not only sound and logical, but exactly the kind of inspiration we so need right now!
The greatest change we need today is an expansion of our capacity to love, from a narrow focus on me to a broader focus on we. It’s not enough to just love our own children or our own home. We must begin to see every child as one of our children and the earth itself as our home.
