The greatest change we need today is an expansion of our capacity to love, from a narrow focus on me to a broader focus on we. It’s not enough to just love our own children or our own home. We must begin to see every child as one of our children and the earth itself as our home.

How can the evangelical community stand silent? I know there are exceptions but very few. They are watching children suffer at the hands of our government. They are watching our beautiful earth being actively harmed.

exactly! although, if we all log into our #FamilyTree in a genealogy site (i.e. @geni) people will notice how closer we actually are: strangers are family and family are strangers. my new thought: horrible people we read about are still from a #Mother and on a family tree.
