High school students started shouting “Lock her up!” at speech by Jeff Sessions. Instead of explaining that HC hasn’t been charged with a crime, that we’re a nation of laws & don’t jail political opponents, he laughed it off. This is how to prepare a next generation for fascism.

Ignorant, fear based chanting is where a lot of developing teenage understanding can be... especially through social media and their parent's education. Critical thinking needs to be a part of any educational system. Is HC "the educated devil you know"? Neither one has integrity.

True. But both sides are guilty of this.. and this was only a one time event. Our school system is already doing what you said: children are not taught or even encouraged to critically think but instead are taught to blindly follow authority.. from daycare to graduation..
