The US budgeted over $700 billion for the military this year, but Congress refuses to put more money into cybersecurity. We’re prepared to fight a 20th-century war; the problem is, it’s no longer the 20th century.

Land of the free? Why are we not free to choose a peace tax plan and not pay one cent more to that bloated and insane military budget?
We could've taken %50 billion and use it to improve infrastructure. Things like road repairs and transit improvements nationally, health coverage, and lowering college tuitions.

Obama was right all along—we needed to cut the standing military and put that money to use for cyber and drone security/military measures! Trump & GOP merely use heavy U.S. Military beefed-up budget as grandstanding to appeal to GOP base

Well said. It’s a shame we live in a world where war still happens, but if it must, we should be prepared for the right kind of war.
