@marwilliamson You have a lot of beautiful wisdom however, by going so heavy into the political realm (picking candidates & sides), I think you're alienating a large number of would-be readers. Being a kindhearted person alone makes others so much more receptive to your ideals.

I don't think your brand is being tarnished (your readers know you have heart of gold) but, others who don't know you may not discover you because of politics. Your insights & teachings are very empowering,
