Not if one is stuck in a mindless job that continually leads to self hatred. I really feel for the customer service reps who constantly deny a compassionate action because corporations say no. I have a challenged kid, & the battles waged with those who have no control is insane.
Thank you for this. Was just thinking about that topic — self-hatred — and that it is at the root of so, so much right now, for so many. We cannot hate ourselves and love another, truly, can we? Or hate another and truly love ourselves? Hurt one; hurt all?
I've been struggling to get my lessons this year (like trouble having them sink in) but I got to lesson 66 a few days ago and things are starting to click into place. Not sure what broke through the fog for me but I'm so grateful I kept going. Miracles for sure.
