In a society in which power is determined so much by financial leverage, children-- because they do not work & therefore have no financial leverage -- are treated as chattel, mere pawns, as opposed to whole citizens with equal rights. We need to rethink, rise up, and change this.

Like most bullies, @realDonaldTrump targets those least equipped to fight back...children, the poor, the sick, elderly, refugees, etc. I think it was Ghandi who said, "A nation’s greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members.” So much for "Make America Great Again!"

They are expendable. Collateral damage. Until they are adding to the economy, paying taxes, etc. they are takers in the eyes of the government. A drain on society. That's what it looks like to my eyes when I see lack of response to school shootings, and urban children dying.

We need societies based on spiritual leverage or the corrupt will always wield power.
