If my child had been taken from me & I had not known where she was, my hysteria would have been without limits. I stand with any mother now going through such a heinous violation of her human rights. And the woman's "crime?"She travelled with her child in search of a better life

I stand with any mother, as well. However, to me it sounds as though these women were searching for more than a better life. For some it was LIFE. Their lives were endangered, threatened by thugs. They were truly seeking asylum.

17 years ago, I lost my 5 year old for 15 mins in a lousy Chuck E. Cheese. 15 mins. I was crazed and frantic. I couldn’t breathe and filled with horror, guilt, and paranoia. I remember it like yesterday. I can not fathom what these parents are going through.

Her crime was breaking and entering. I bet if the same woman entered your house, you would be calling the police

Something this country has always advertised that it would give.

The worst part is these mothers are fleeing countries that were destabilized by American interference. Thanks CIA.

Ooh my! So sad and absurd. Who took your child away from you?

No, the “crime” is not using legal immigration channels. Countries set laws, if u break them there r consequences. A 2008 law separates illegal entry adults from children because it was considered inhumane to house children in adult detention centres. Housing together is illegal.

The GOP war on women and children has reached new lows. We MUST #Vote to change this.
