Imagine a woman who made a desperate journey with her child, trying to make it to a place where maybe they could live a better life. Her child is taken away when she gets here; she’s deported is now in some village not knowing where her child is & with no way of ever finding out.

That’s what some people don’t understand. It’s not that they chose to come to this country, they are being forced to leave theirs. What would you do? if your kids are in danger.

I pray that parents and children will be reunited. I place this in God's hands and ask for a miracle. May the circle of our love keep them safe and bring them together.

Makes me so nauseous... I can't believe we are doing this in 2018. #Zachor #NeverForget #Thisishowtheholocaustbegan

I imagine she’s panicked, can’t eat, can’t sleep, out of her mind with worry. Desperate to cling to the hope she will find her child. I can’t imagine how her heart is breaking just that mine is breaking too.

I'm really really not trying to be mean because I've been away from my mom at a real low point in our lives but change the law don't break the law but I guess that don't mean anything cops killing black people all the time and I guess that's not breaking the law

I awoke at 3am with an aching heart imagining exactly that! We must demand that our government do everything possible to reunite these children with their parents. WE CAN'T JUST TAKE PEOPLE'S CHILDREN FROM THEM, FOR GOD'S SAKE!!

It’s like a nightmare or a movie- except it’s worse because it’s real and it’s the United States of America. 💔
