My mother's father came to America alone when he was 13 yrs old, sold bananas on lower East side of NYC 'til he made enough money to go back to Russia & get his next younger brother, then repeated that 7 times til every sibling & their mother was brought over. THAT is who we are

I鈥檓 afraid that is who we WERE. Maybe with God鈥檚 help that is who we can be again.
Marianne: My grandparents story is the same. One comes over, then helps the others, My grandparents put 3 kids through college, owned a home, and lived a decent life.
And I鈥檓 guessing he did this legally
