Disgraceful. Do not use St. Paul to justify unjust laws and acts of cruelty. St. Paul was an apostle not of laws (we are not justified by laws, he says in Romans), but an apostle of a person: Jesus Christ. The one who said, "I was a stranger and you did not welcome me" (Mt. 25).
AG Jeff Sessions on immigration policy: Illegal entry into the US is a crime; "I would cite you to the apostle Paul and his clear and wise command in Romans 13, to obey the laws of the government because God has ordained the government for his purposes." cnn.it/2ycqmJB

I don’t agree with that. It as legitimate to argue something based on religious principle as it is to argue something based on scientific principle. Our constitution wasn’t based on science either but it still has relevance.

That argument is completely flawed. Firstly, we have prospered from a seperation of church and state. Secondly, It is NOT the same and It is VERY dangerous to equate the validity of faith with science. Science is not biased, science does not care about your faith. Science just is

All religions are, by design, bias to its believers - even in the best of times. Incredible cruelty has and is being inflicted in the name of (insert religion here). To allow the rule of law to be predicated on one faction's faith/beliefs opens the door to countless infractions
on humanity and human rights. We have seen this endlessly in the human experience. I certainly don't need to spell them out to someone who preaches a return to love. How do you not see the difference? Faith is wonderful and beautiful and individual. But do not presume all people
do or should feel the same. Should our leaders be guided by a hand of faith and morality, sure. Should we all be forced to accepted decisions based on tenuous religious grounds? NEVER.
