We’ve been ravaged. We’re at the effect of an old way of doing things but at the start of something new. #Marianne2024

It’s a primary! And no one ever said to Vivek Ramaswamy, Andrew Yang or Robert Kennedy Jr. “Run for Congress instead. Start small and build up.” Gee, I wonder what the difference is. 😉

"They just don't realize how much we've done for them" is like a quip from the lips of French aristocrats moments before the crowd reached the Bastille. 3/4

Inadequate health care. A job you hate but need in order to get benefits. Working more than one job to make ends meet. Skipping meals in order to pay the rent. Living out of your car while going to school. Enormous college loan debts. Endless anxiety about how you'll pay the rent each month. One $500 unexpected expenditure away from total disaster. The possibility of eviction always looming over you. 2/4

We will beat Trump in 2024 is by offering actual hope to Americans, the majority of whom are shackled by the invisible chains of economic constriction. 1/4

No matter who the President is, it will matter what kind of Congress he or she has. That's a given. A President doesn't have a magic wand. But the President can lay out a vision, articulate the moral reasoning for their agenda, and then uses both negotiations with Congress as well as the Bully Pulpit to effectuate the policies. Someone having been in DC a long time doesn't give them any more power to do that.

No he is not the best we’ve got! And the experience he has is not the experience most needed to lead the country at this time. His experience of the past only perpetuates the conditions of the past.

.@SenSanders is “frustrated”with the President? It’s nothing compared to the frustration of the American people. Progressives endorsing the President - with no demands, no less - have only enabled him to continue policies most likely to make him lose in November. Cries of “Yeah but we need to do this to keep Trump out of the White House” or “Yeah, but look at the alternative” will only guarantee Trump a second term. “Let’s all rally around this losing candidate so we can prop him up!” is an odd battle cry.
