Does the same apply to Robert Kennedy and Cornell West and Ralph Nader and Ross Perot? The idea that only good political car mechanics should run for the highest office needs to be challenged. The problem is not that we don’t have good car mechanics in Washington. The problem is that we are on the wrong road.

All the talk about how anyone such as myself running against Biden is “helping Trump get elected!” The truth is, Biden running again is what’s helping Trump get elected. To the, “She can’t win” crowd, my response is this: “HE can’t win!” I. not the President, am offering to the American people an agenda of economic reform so sorely needed and desired in this country. And THAT is how we’ll win. #anewbeginning Marianne2024.com

Big Oil CEO running COP28 and using it as a platform to promote oil and gas deals. What a kick in the teeth to every climate activist and a callous “We don’t care” response from the world’s most powerful to its most powerless.
The chances for real progress at COP28 were badly damaged early this year when an oil company CEO was appointed to lead the negotiations. And now investigative journalists have confirmed some of the worst fears of those who criticized that absurd appointment with the shocking news that the President-designate has been using the meetings he has set up with nations around the world to sell more oil and gas. At the same time, the fossil fuel company he leads (the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) has been preparing to launch one of the largest expansions of oil and gas production of any company in the world — timed to begin immediately after COP28 concludes. Using international climate talks as leverage to shore up support for pumping more oil and gas at a time when we urgently need to phase out fossil fuels is — to say the least — utterly appalling.

Millions of people are forced to live in the shadows by our immigration policies. They should not be “illegal.”
