It’s taking time for the public to see how important the struggle over Cop City is for all of us, but the more officials do to suppress this protest the more they’re awakening a sleeping giant. The acquiescence of Democratic politicians to what is happening here is horrifying. The Democratic Party should be leading the charge against it. @ossoff @ReverendWarnock
The City of Atlanta just doxxed 116,000 people who signed the #StopCopCity petition. After the City Council directed the clerk to redact personal information, instead the clerk published all of it online––and we know the clerk has been taking orders from @andreforatlanta.

Replying to @cenkuygur
If a Dem politician doesn't have the courage to challenge Biden until it's "permitted," what does that say about their courage to challenge anything or anyone once they got into the office? If they're playing the game now, they'll be playing the game later.

This is true. And while it seems radical to most Americans, it’s the reality for the citizens of every other advanced democracy.
If a doctor prescribes a medication, that should just be it. No sort of cost or insurance company should be able to get in the way of obtaining it. #UniversalHealthcare #Medicaid4ALL

In the words of Franklin Roosevelt, “It is time for the country to become fairly radical for a generation.” It will not be the incrementalists who save us. It will be we ourselves, repudiating the same “economic royalists” that have plagued this country over and over again throughout our history . 5/6

We won’t be able to fix all this overnight, in fact it will take a generation. But we can get started. We can initiate a season of repair. 4/6

Over 40 years ago this country stopped investing in its people. Our public treasury became over time a piggy bank for oligarchic swindlers and thieves. 3/6

But there aren’t a lot of problems so much is there is ONE problem - they all stem from the same source - and it is that one problem we need to address head on. 2/6

There are so many problems it can seem overwhelming; we’re always playing whack-a-mole trying to deal with whatever crisis stands in front of us at the moment. 1/6

From universal healthcare to tuition free college and more, the will of the people is fine. Our problem is a political system that does more to thwart that will than to facilitate it. #Marianne2024 #2024Election

They don’t want to platform the option of a genuine alternative to the corporate tyranny now leeching the soul out of our democracy. They call the campaign “unserious” because it is the *only* one serious enough to address the actual source of the rot that is plaguing this country. It would upset their apple cart … which is why we must do it.😉 #disruptthecorrupt
