Investment in police and fire departments can be appropriate, if the money is allocated well.
Copy City is not that. It is a dangerous separation of domestic policing from the population the police are meant to serve, creating an us versus them mentality that is decidedly inappropriate.
Cop City is more like a military base for domestic police, and that is a very bad idea. It does not support the population, and it will be very difficult to monitor its operations. Also, many of those who oppose Cop City are absolutely from Atlanta.
