I never made an anti-vax comment. Ever. Long before Covid, I criticized mandates - which is a very different thing. There was nothing to “walk back.” I also never made an “anti-medicine” statement. A metaphysical comment taken out of context has been interpreted that way by people wishing to smear me, that is all. No one who knows anything about me or my own medical history or my career thinks I am in any way anti-medicine.

Having written fifteen books I'm pretty clear how to sell books, and a presidential campaign is not it. You do a book tour, not a campaign tour, to sell books. In fact, in the field of books I'm known for the way to sell them is to NEVER mention politics. The "book tour" narrative was created by one disgruntled ex-employee of the campaign who does not know me and, I assure you, knows nothing about publishing books. As far as the legitimacy of my campaign is concerned, your opinion is not shared by the thousands of people who have come to my talks and are giving me standing ovations around the country. Money and media support do not in my mind - or in theirs - determine the legitimacy of a campaign.

We don’t deal with one crisis at a time anymore; at this point we’re in a rolling state of crisis all the time. This is what it has brought us to that we’ve allowed the accumulation of corporate profits to become America’s governing principle. We’ve allowed a soulless economic paradigm to replace democracy and humanitarian values as our society’s bottom line. It has put the world in a state of fundamental disrepair, and the only adequate response is an equally fundamental dedication to a new beginning. We need to end an aberrational chapter of American history and begin a season of repair. Marianne2024.com

What is happening in Gaza is unconscionable. I have said that repeatedly, calling early and consistently for a ceasefire. I have not spoken in terms of genocide, that is true. Number one, because that is not the desire of the Israeli people; and two, because then you have to point out that genocide is exactly what Sinwar has declared is the intention of Hamas toward the Jews. This conversation is far too serious, and far too tragic, for me to want to discuss it in terms of genocide tit for tat. We need three things: 1) Ceasefire. 2) Release of the hostages. 3) A plan for a two-state solution.
