It’s incredibly good that the call to #FreeAssangeNOW is mounting. I will drop the case against him during my first week in office.

Harvard cancelled my talk that was scheduled weeks ago for this Sunday. They’re saying no presidential candidates are allowed to speak there now; you realize that this is the Kennedy School of Government! One can only wonder who made the call that had this one cancelled.

I bargained for nothing less.

The three things below are what's necessary now, but the most complicated thing is that they must occur simultaneously. No one can simply force either Hamas or Bibi to make it happen (neither the Palestinians nor the Israelis have enlightened leadership at this point). Our only hope is an international consortium involving powerful Arab countries, the United States and Europe. 1) Ceasefire 2) Release of the hostages 3) Immediate conference on the establishment of a two-state solution, accompanied by a temporary international peace-keeping force to make it binding. There are absolutely Palestinian and Jewish Israeli leaders waiting in the wings, capable of accomplishing this. They are held down on both sides but my prayer is that they be lifted up.

The comments expressed by these candidates are as ignorant as they are dangerous. They display an absurd lack of understanding regarding Israel and Palestine, as though the situation is a board game for adolescent children.

The political -media-industrial complex does not want anyone platformed in this contest who is willing to say that, because when people actually hear it the gig is up. I see it ever day - what people see versus what the system does not want them to see. I’m telling you, people are seeing it anyway… 4/4
