I know where I was during the AIDS epidemic: holding the hands of scores of victims while they died,
donating and raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to help them, and founding an organization that has served 14 million meals to homebound patients.

Cop City is, to put it bluntly, the infrastructure for a police state.
Plus it is a template they are planning to recreate in other cities as well.
Those who were protesting it are not criminals, they are heroes.
