REMEMBER THIS DAY. NUCLEAR FUSION BREAKTHROUGH. We have harnessed the power to create nuclear fusion with lasers eliminating the need for fossil fuels, and without any radioactive waste. This breakthrough creates unlimited clean renewable energy. It eliminates the need for oil.

A French company spews carcinogenic PFAS “forever chemicals” into the water in Merrimack, New Hampshire, in a way that they are not legally allowed to do in France. One of many such travesties regarding water in the United States.
When Amara Strande was just 16, a 15-pound tumor was found embedded in her liver. Nearly the size of a volleyball. She was one of many students at Tartan High School in Oakdale who got cancer. Students joked about the water fountains, saying, “Don’t drink the 3M cancer water.” 🧵

Read the 2nd Amendment and what it actually says. Common sense gun safety laws, including an assault weapon ban, do not “undercut” the 2nd Amendment. Our greatest leverage against overreach is in the voting booth.

An appropriate skepticism regarding overreach by government is an important aspect of intelligent citizenship whether you're a liberal or a conservative.

Outside forces don't need to take away our freedoms once we ourselves surrender our freedom of thought. Not questioning an unjust system leads to accommodating to an unjust system leads to acquiescing to an unjust system. Then it's over, before you even realized it happened.

They made such a big deal about fusion discovery re our nuclear capacity to undercut conversation about clean cheap energy. (That conversation could have gotten out of hand!) If national security was really the goal, clean cheap energy is exactly what they would have discussed.

A war economy is immoral. We need to make a just transition from a war economy to a peace economy. More ROI on every level, including a greater probability of the survival of the human race.
The U.S. spends more on the pentagon than China, India, the UK, Russia, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and South Korea spend on defense COMBINED. Imagine if we stopped spending $858 billion+ on pentagon pork and spent it on healthcare, education, & housing instead.

That doesn't mean the government has no role in saving people's lives.

As long as a matrix of corporate entities - from insurance companies to Big Pharma to Big Oil to gun makers to Big Food to Big Ag to defense contractors -holds the govt hostage, it's not a particular candidate who needs to be challenged. The entire system needs to be challenged.

"Inalienable rights" not in the Constitution, it's in the Dec of Ind - rights "to life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness." It says govt's job is to "secure those rights", clearly NOT HAPPENING in the case of our children. Stop trying to defeat the Declaration of Independence.
