Maybe if people SAW other alternatives they would SEE other alternatives. Trying to sew it up for Biden by invisible-izing his opponents is a PR strategy unworthy of the Democratic Party. washingtonpost.com/politics/…

If wearing masks in hospitals decreases the rate of long Covid, then of course I support that.

The American economy works well for 20% of us. That 20% live on an economic island surrounded by a vast sea of economic despair… the inevitable consequence of govt doing more to serve the goal of short term profit maximization for its huge corporate donors than to serve the goal of safety, health and well-being for its people. As long as corporations rule, we the people do not. And only we the people can change that. #ANewBeginning

The way to win in 2024 is not by telling people things are getting better even if the majority of them can’t really feel it. The way to win in 2024 is to validate the frustration of the 80% of Americans for whom the economy isn’t working at all, promising to disrupt the system into which such inequity is baked into the cake. The status quo will not disrupt itself. We will. We can - even more importantly, we should - and if I win, we will.

The DNC “plans no primary debates.” As though there simply ARE no other candidates … no other ideas we should discuss about ways to win in 2024, or other ideas we should discuss about ways to repair the country. Too many people are too smart to accept this.

Like something out of a movie.
Astonishing. Another example of how corporate media doesn't take the #climatecrisis seriously enough. John Kerry is talking about the existential threat of the climate crisis. Our planet is at risk. Extremely important topic. Psaki responds with let's go get some ice cream.

Statement from the campaign of Marianne Williamson For President: The Marianne Williamson for President campaign appreciates @Reuters' prompt correction of their glaring omission of her name from this week’s Factbox. While neither Williamson nor the public has received an apology from Reuters, we assume there will be more fair and accurate reporting of her candidacy in the future.

Statement from the campaign of Marianne Williamson For President: The intentional omission of Marianne Williamson’s name from the Reuters Factbox article titled "2024 US presidential election: who is in, who is out and who is still thinking about it" is below the journalistic standards of a mainstream news organization. In a democratic society, it is not only the right but also the responsibility of the press to report the news—not create it. Williamson will continue to spread her message of fundamental economic and social repair despite the mainstream media’s attempt to invisibilize her. The Williamson campaign requests an immediate correction to the article, as well as a formal apology from Reuters to the public for such a blatant transgression against its own journalistic standards and its obvious effort to mislead.
