I was so naive that when I kept getting these sweet notes from Michael Brooks I just thought he was a fan being kind. I was nice to him but in this way of "Oh he's so sweet of course I'll be nice and do his podcast." Never got a chance to which I regret. I feel him helping us now

We will again, Peter, largely because of people like you. I feel the consciousness building every day, to repair and regenerate while there's still time. We might not live to see the entire world regreened, but we can start the process. I think we will.

The problem is not that people aren't upset; we're just living with this conundrum, what are we supposed to do? youtube.com/watch?v=4ZvT5rJs… @RichRoll

With all due respect, do you even know his name? Do you know anything about him?

I have not compared conservatives to fascists. I have compared fascists to fascists, and fascists are not conservative. And your 10th amendment point is absurd. Do you think we should have just left the decision whether or not to have slavery “up to the States?”

Humanity is on a collision course with itself, the UN chief calling the climate crisis humanity’s “collective suicide.” Anyone still defending our political establishment needs an Al Anon meeting. HTTPS://www.theguardian.com/…

He seems to be saying what all of us are thinking now - free of whatever “Joe is my friend” caveats that might have been holding him back before.
The corporate lobbyists working on this bill are like pigs at the trough.

She’s right.
Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday compared the recent Supreme Court ruling overturning a constitutional right to abortion to America’s history of slavery. “Our country has a history of claiming ownership over human bodies,” she said. cnb.cx/3IWq5LC

Union-busting by Chipotle.
BREAKING: Chipotle is permanently closing the store in Augusta, ME where workers last month filed to form Chipotle's first union in the U.S. Workers are rallying outside the store at 5pm today and demanding the company halt its union-busting and reopen the store.

Otherwise it’s the just the same ole same ole…govt subsidizing the rich while the poor are finding it harder to survive.
The amendment that @SenSanders will be filing to this bill would impose the following conditions on the grants and tax credit: 1. No stock buybacks - period 2. No outsourcing jobs 3. No union busting 4. Warrants/equity stakes in the companies commondreams.org/news/2022/0…

It isn't morally acceptable to make life easier for billionaires and harder for everyone else.
Can someone explain to me how a billionaire paying $0 in taxes is "smart" but a laid-off worker getting their unemployment insurance benefits is "leeching off the system?"

We regret to inform you…
The progress Biden’s infrastructure bill makes on climate is effectively canceled out—several times over—by the pollution enabled by his outsized military budget. Read my analysis (via @OutriderFdn) here: outrider.org/climate-change/…

They didn’t have the resources at all! Fascinating stuff about that in the book “No Ordinary Time” about FDR & Eleanor. We particularly didn’t have enough rubber or aluminum and the whole country sent in things like hoses, tires, pots and pans. Really amazing what happened there.
