This isn’t about a fist bump

That fist bump was really something.

For anyone unfamiliar with anti-Semitic tropes that have plagued civilization for centuries, the picture of the exaggerated nose is code. The angle of Dettelbach’s picture is not an accident.

The system is so exceedingly corrupt.
All the deficit hawks who say we can’t curb climate change or assist the hungry because it’s too expensive are eerily silent on this one.

Got that right. Plus the military budget is just for one year and then basically they’ll do it again next year.
The House just passed a record-high $840 billion Military budget, the same amount as all the stimulus checks combined. Huh, guess when they print money for people it's "socialist," but when they do it for Military contractors it's "bipartisan."

"The Jewish Junta is getting stronger and more aggressive." My God.
As first reported by @joesonka, some anti Semitism from the Bracken County Kentucky GOP

Wow
Watch this pointed exchange between Rep. Eric Swalwell and an anti-choice advocate over whether a 10-year-old rape victim choosing to end a pregnancy constitutes an abortion

Short term corporate profit maximization has been the guiding principle of our society for over 40 years, yet it’s actually the *absence* of principles - which is why it has guided our democracy and our planet and possibly our species to a place roughly six inches from the cliff.

Wyden is a public servant. Manchin is not.
People have been trained to expect so little.

The House just passed an $840 billion defense bill, supposedly to ensure our national security. But economic security IS national security and most Americans are not economically secure. Where’s the $840B for that?

He is not being prosecuted for any of that. He is being prosecuted for revealing atrocities and war crimes committed by the US military in Iraq and Afghanistan. Ed Schulz appeared regularly on RT. He a traitor too?

I wonder how many journalists have already held back from reporting things they know in their heart a Free Press should be reporting, thinking “After what they’ve done to Julian Assange maybe I better not.” Authoritarianism doesn’t just land on people, it creeps toward us slowly

It was an honor to meet the incredible Stella Morris in London tonight as she courageously fights for justice for her husband #JulianAssange.

This is such an attack on the rights of women.
Republicans blocked an attempt by Senate Democrats to pass a bill to protect the right of individuals to cross state lines for reproductive health care. The request, made by Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, was objected to by Republican James Lankford.
