To me that’s the point. This country voted for Al Gore and POTUS refused Florida the right to count its own votes. That election was the REAL steal.

To say to a generation watching their future stolen right in front of their eyes that they really need to work only through accepted channels - since, after all, to do so has no chance of inconveniencing the institutions that are failing them - is an absurdity they’re not buying.

Congresswoman Bush camping on the Capitol steps got action from the White House that would otherwise not have occurred.
It was not ridiculous.
Same for the Sunrise folks. They sent an important message.

I only mean this if the art remains unhurt! But throwing food at broadcasting towers would have none of the dramatic affect that this has.
There’s a DaDa-esque surreal quality to this, a shock value that makes an excellent point: what is humanity doing to our priceless earth!?!?

As long as they don’t hurt the art (which they’re not), I think environmental activists throwing food stuff etc. onto priceless paintings to highlight the insanity of our priorities is a pretty glorious piece of agitprop.
