A non-violent political revolution, absolutely. The Abolitionists, Women Suffragettes, and Civil Rights workers didn’t just wring their hands and say it couldn’t be done. It was seemingly impossible but they made it happen anyway. So can we.

Yeah because mommy could walk and chew gum at the same time. We’re losing Roe v. Wade because of a Republican president getting to appoint 3 SCOTUS justices

He faced a lot of opposition actually. But he fought harder

Our challenge is as much psychological & emotional as it is political: To look deeply at what’s wrong in this country, have the courage to name it, yet find enough forgiveness & faith & optimism to start over. “As our case is new, so we must think anew & act anew.” - A. Lincoln

A start.
The People Over Pentagon Act offers a major course correction to escalating militarism and an atrophying welfare state. It would be a first step in funding human needs rather than padding the bottom lines of weapons contractors. jacobin.com/2022/06/defense-…

And her husband is supposed to live with this for the rest of his life how?
Eva Mireles called her husband and said she had been shot and was dying. When he tried to save her - he was detained, had his gun was taken away and was escorted from the school. ksat.com/news/local/2022/06/…
