Kudos to the impressive Texas journalists who are holding on tight to the Uvalde story, demanding answers, pouring over details, refusing to acquiesce to an insanely corrupt cover-up in order to expose the truth.
What would FDR do?
Looking forward to my Thursday night conversation with @HarveyJKaye! Streamed live here on Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and mariannewilliamson.substack.… 8pm ET / 5pm PT
This coming Thursday evening 8pmET, I join Marianne Williamson @marwilliamson in a livestream of her show to look back at FDR’s WWII/wartime efforts to control INFLATION.
Watch it on your favorite platform…
The corporate media wants you to believe inflation has nothing to do with corporations making record profits, $1 trillion stock buybacks or billionaires becoming $2 trillion richer & everything to do with the dude at Arby's getting a 50 cent raise & a $1,400 check. Bullshit.
How heartless do you have to be to believe that a healthy economy means pushing 5% of the population (or anyone for that matter) into joblessness? Just listen to yourselves!!! And if you can’t hear it, then step the heck aside and the rest of us will take the wheel.
Questions related to pregnancy and birth are already so fraught. The idea that a bunch of men are adding even more layers of stress and heartbreak to this is infuriating.
Damn right the Supreme Court matters. nytimes.com/2022/06/20/us/ab…
With capitalism now being weaponized against the average working American, the reemergence of a powerful labor movement is the people doing what government refuses to do to advocate for their best interests.

I’m going to suggest that you vote for non-corporate candidates. The issue is corporate backing, not specifically the party. Non-corporate backed candidates running in the Democratic Party are not naïve about this issue any more than you are.

I didn't say those ideas were "justified." I just said they are there. Democrats who are in denial about this are "part of the problem," not the people who are pointing it out.
So you’re saying you think it’s going to be a blue wave in November? People are going to be so grateful for all the help they received they’ll show up at the polls to say so?
Wouldn’t it be better to face the facts now while we still have time to change them?
True enough. But this isn’t about how people *should* behave; it’s how the most common sense psychological appraisal makes it clear that they *will* behave.
If daddy beat you when you were a child, you grow up angrier at mommy for not stopping him or calling the police.
