It bugs me that a TX politician is trying to outlaw drag shows for minors. It’s not about whether or not children should watch the shows; it’s the dark suggestion that drag queens are doing something harmful to children to begin with. What’s shameful is the politician doing this.

Of course it would be deeply problematic, horrible to show porn to a child. But comparing a drag show to porn is absurd. And outlawing it is insane.

Exactly. They won't draw a line at kids being at risk of being shot at school, but they'll draw a line at letting kids see drag shows.
