Correct.
“The persecution of #JulianAssange is an alarming affront to any reasonable notion of justice and media freedom. The Australian Government's kowtowing to Washington is equally appalling. Mr Assange is a hero, not a villain.” - @WilkieMP #WorldPressFreedomDay 🧵

We don’t need you to explain the meaning of this decision, Madam Speaker. But we’d like to hear what you plan to do about it. And “There’s nothing we can do” is not an acceptable answer.
If the report is accurate, the Supreme Court is poised to inflict the greatest restriction of rights in the past fifty years – not just on women but on all Americans.

Let. This. Sink. In.
The second Roe is struck down, it will be a first degree felony—punishable by life in prison—for a Texas doctor to perform an abortion for a woman who was raped and impregnated by a family member.

What SCOTUS is doing is unconscionable, but it’s going to unleash a sleeping giant of women’s outrage that is ultimately going to serve this country well.

Do it NOW please.
Roe v. Wade is the law of the land, and we must fight any and all attempts to overturn it. As president, I will codify Roe into law and ensure this choice remains between a woman and her doctor. washingtonpost.com/politics/…

We should call our Congresspeople (202 224 3121) and the White House (202 456 1111) to tell them we want this. Now!

ABSOLUTELY I did. But more than that, do you think it's okay to just casually lie about someone because according to your prejudices you figure it's probably true?

This is more than an attack on women's abortion rights. It is an attack on women.

If only they thought like you, Bernie 😞
Congress must pass legislation that codifies Roe v. Wade as the law of the land in this country NOW. And if there aren’t 60 votes in the Senate to do it, and there are not, we must end the filibuster to pass it with 50 votes.

Abortion rights could have been codified into law. This did not have to happen.
The Supreme Court has voted to strike down Roe v. Wade, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito and obtained by POLITICO. “We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” Alito writes. politico.com/news/2022/05/02…

Clevelanders! If there is one more call you can make, one more door you can knock on, or one more other way you can help @ninaturner win at the polls tomorrow, know you’re giving a tremendous gift not just to Cleveland but to the entire country. Shake it up for all of us! Gooooo!

I have a sneaking suspicion that someone coming around to endorse a candidate twelve hours before the election has done so because she got wind of the fact that said candidate just might win.

The vast majority of America's poor are NOT poor because of "terrible choices." They're poor because of a system that routinely locks them out, through poor education, poor health care, and consistent support for those who exploit them at the workplace. Can you not see that?

AOC endorses @NinaTurner 12. hours. before. the. election.
I’m really not trying to be a jerk. Better late than never I guess? At least AOC checked the box unlike the others. But what will an endorsement 12 hours before Election Day voting starts actually accomplish? The abandonment of Nina by “Progressives” is an incredible betrayal.

If you’re outraged about some student loan forgiveness wait until you see what we give to oil companies who post record profits.

How did a so-called Christian nation transition so seamlessly from “help the poor” to “help the rich?”
