It was the neoiberal mutiny against the New Deal that took us to where we are. What you call the Cosplay Socialists are just trying to take things back to basic New Deal principles. "Chakra Con" is pretty funny, however.

There are a lot of good people trying to make it, and they need our support. Withdrawing from the system because we think it's corrupt will only make it more so. Please check out these candidates: candidatesummit.com

What does that even mean? What do you think would have happened?

I do think we should stop the non-stop spending! - SUCH AS: $813B defense budget; 2017 $2T tax cut that gave 83 cents of every $ to the richest people and corporations; and corporate subsidies like this one: coal, oil, and natural gas received $5.9 trillion in subsidies in 2020!

That's not what progressive candidates will say. Go to candidatesummit.com and support candidates who tell it like it is.

I appreciate the left-handed compliment but I am not saying anything now that I haven’t been saying for the last 20 years.

Yes and no. The House passed the Build Back Better plan and only two Democratic senators voted against it. That was a lot of people who voted FOR something that would have dramatically altered the lives of millions of people for the better. Every GOP legislator voted against it.

The US has far and away the highest poverty rate out of 26 development nations plus we’re basically the only one without universal healthcare & either free or very inexpensive higher education. Show up at every event for every midterm election and ask each candidate why that is.

One more day and Cleveland will make the choice between a politics “of the people, by the people and for the people” and a politics “of the machine, by the machine for the machine.” Go @ninaturner!

The key to a successful society is creating the opportunity for as many people as possible to succeed.
In Denmark, as a result of strong unions, McDonald's workers make $22 an hour, get 6 weeks paid vacation & 1 year of paid leave. In the US, 58% of McDonald's workers make less than $12 an hour & no benefits while its CEO makes $20 million. Every worker needs a union. #MayDay2022

Beautiful.
Powerful moment in Cleveland where @ninaturner tears up while hugging former student Christian. "You were always like a mother to me," Christian said.

Not kooky.
labor is not a commodity but life, human life, with a soul in it, and as sacred as the God who created it
