This is so fantastic. I'm thrilled for him.
BREAKING: The ankle bracelet has been hacked off and I'm heading home! This black claw was both a real and symbolic taking by @Chevron of my freedom and peace of mind for 913 days. Outrageous in the extreme. Full release coming on April 25. I'm thrilled.

I have total faith it can be better. The question for me is whether we’ll have the courage to make it so.

This makes me sick. Assange is in prison and Donziger is in home confinement, but a Democratic president is calling Mitch McConnell “a man of honor.”
Pres. Biden thanks Senate GOP Leader McConnell “for being my friend” during National Prayer Breakfast. “Mitch, I don't wanna hurt your reputation, but we really are friends...You’ve always done exactly what you’ve said. You’re a man of your word. And you’re a man of honor.”

I'm proud to endorse @RebeccaforWA 🏳️‍🌈 for Congress in WA-06! She's occupied empty buildings to get more housing for homeless people and will keep doing direct action to fight for Medicare for All, housing for all, and ending the fossil fuel industry.

A group of homeless people in San Francisco got $500 a month for 6 months, no strings attached. Two-thirds of them got on their feet and secured stable long-term housing. Amazing what happens when you treat poor people like human beings fastcompany.com/90717489/wha…

The problem is, money not being given to American citizens to fulfill their basic needs is not being given instead to "some random foreigner"; it's being given instead to huge multi-national corporations and their enablers who want you to THINK it's being given to immigrants, etc

But which are we, some ask: a land of racist underpinnings, or a land of opportunity? The tragic irony is that America is both. We have always been both, and it is the task of our generation to reconcile the uncomfortable juxtaposition between the two.mariannewilliamson.substack.…

Listen to this story for inspiration, hope and clarity about the kind of people we need in Congress. Sergio Alcubilla @sergio4hawaii sergio4hawaii.com is a non-corporate backed primary candidate who came to this country when he was seven years old. We need his voice now.

"..a smooth transition to repayment." Are you *kidding* me?
.@PressSec just now on student-loan forgiveness: "I don't have any additional executive orders to predict at this point in time, but if this resumes... Biden will continue working to ensure a smooth transition to repayment."

My father used to walk around the house calling out "Beat the system, kids! Beat the system!" I was fifty years old before I realized how much he wasn't kidding.
