I guess, like, of course she did.
The day before Kyrsten Sinema voted against changing Senate filibuster rules, she flew to Houston for a fundraiser with a mostly Republican crowd of fossil fuel donors, telling them they could "rest assured" that she would protect the filibuster theguardian.com/business/202…

Trump said at a rally on Sunday that Mike Pence “could have overturned the election.” He isn’t even pretending anymore.

When a ship is listing far to one side, measures necessary to right the ship might seem drastic at first. But they're not. Medicare4All, guaranteed wage, free college & cancellation of college loan debt are simply course-corrections to forty years of theft from the middle class.

Cynicism is just an excuse for not helping.

Private health insurance as a rule serves no purpose except to make money for private health insurers. It is a leech on the very system it claims to serve. #Medicare4All
Here is a sobering reminder of how insurers have rigged the game as we enter tax season: NEW: A whopping 60% of @AnthemInc's ~$137 billion revenue came from the federal and state taxes Americans paid last year. wendellpotter.substack.com/p…

Yep.
California Democrats, who hold a veto-proof supermajority in the state, just torpedoed the #CalCare single payer program last night because their insurance and pharma donors told them to. Liberal pundits will be shocked to hear Joe Manchin was nowhere to be found.

And my point is that that point is incorrect. There was certainly that census box in Nazi Germany, as well as in czarist Russia and everywhere else for centuries where Jews were persecuted.

Delegitimizing the idea that Jews are a race is deeply problematical. Hitler seeing Jews as an “inferior race” was his justification for genocide & still lies at the core of anti-Semitism.The answer isn’t to claim we’re not a race; it’s to recognize that we’re equal to all others

“When they give it to the poor they call it a handout; when they give it to the rich they call it a subsidy” -MLK Jr. The “handouts” you refer to have been the largest stimulants on the economy - plus for millions of people they have meant lives kept afloat.

This doesn’t fundamentally improve the lives of most working people, due not only to no BBB but also due to lack of universal healthcare, college loan debt, wage stagnation & income inequality. Most of the gains are just going to the top. That is a perilous, not a strong economy.
During our first year in office, we achieved: - The greatest year of job growth in American history - The fastest economic growth in nearly four decades - Record drops in unemployment Now, we’ve got to keep the progress going by passing my Build Back Better Agenda.

Thank you for sharing the picture with us. It cannot have been easy to do so, but you remind us of something that so needs to be remembered. May their memory be a blessing.
