I LOVE Joni Mitchell. I don't love someone less just because I don't agree with them about everything.

It's not about destroying them, it's about taxing them. Then other people can have a chance to get rich too.

No, of course people have a right to boycott. But we need to think about all this. There's not always a simple yes or no to things; there are deeper issues we need to think about at a time like this.

Absolutely you can! And you should, if that's how you feel. The point here is that a free marketplace of ideas is how we go about getting to the best ones.

They have a right to boycott as much as I have a right to say why I wouldn't. That's kind of the point; that all of us should have a right to say what we think.

Obviously there's a difference between a boycott and de-platforming, but the lines are blurred today and the larger issue is whether we should be cancelling people's voices - and whose. There are legitimate nuances to all this and the conversation matters.

Depending on who's in charge, any of us could be said to be spreading "propaganda and misinformation." That's the problem. Also, with your logic, shouldn't we take down the Pentagon's site? Or Chevron's?

I'm triple vaxxed, but (unless they're standing for hate or calling for violence) banning someone's podcast is too much like burning a book to me. Joe Rogan should talk on his podcast about whatever he damn well pleases.

Is he, like, teasing us? The president could declare a National Medical Emergency and expand Medicare to everyone. Today.

Yep.
In America today, 745 billionaires now own more wealth than the bottom 60% of all our people combined. And worse, over the last two years, while those 745 billionaires grew their wealth by some 70%, half our people live paycheck to paycheck. That's greed. Plain and simple.

NO ONE can say why Leonard Peltier is still in jail given the preponderance of evidence he was fraudulently convicted. Every major human rights figure and organization has called for his release. Et tu @POTUS? #FreeLeonardPeltier michaelmoore.com/p/freeleona…

Resistance to the next chapter of human flowering has become vicious - from cruel immigration laws to banning books to crushing unions. But the flowering will continue, even if only through cracks in the cement. The ways of life will prevail over cold stone hearts.

Hey, kids. Every book that is banned is a book you should probably read.
