I think there was a lot of pushback. Environmental activism, labor strikes, some progressive candidates. But obviously we need to do a lot more. The energy has to become much bigger this year.

I asked for anyone with influence to help create pressure to get more planes there for that humanitarian disaster of an exit, you're right. Clunky language in a panicked moment, true, but the goal was correct and I would do it again.

Whatever pushback we made in 2021 to the corporatist establishment was inadequate to the task of overriding its power. We need to step it up big time in 2022.
