We’re with you, Stella. This will not go unanswered.

As expected, Britain has chosen to extradite Assange to the US. He exposed murder and torture that the US govt prefers to keep secret. It is critically important that we make a stand AGAINST govt secrecy - and FOR freedom of the press and our right to know.
The High Court in London ruled that U.S. assurances were enough to guarantee Assange would be treated humanely and directed a lower court judge to send the extradition request to Britain’s interior minister for review. ⁦@DanicaKirkaapnews.com/article/87c7f8f5a…

We don’t understand it either, Congressman. Although on another level we understand perfectly: our govt does more to serve short term profits for defense contractors than it does to serve the health and well-being of the average American citizen.
The Build Back Better Act will cost $175 billion per year The defense budget: $768 billion this year alone, and much of it goes to defense contractors. I don’t understand why the first is called “irresponsible spending” and the second does not get scrutiny.

Congratulations to @SDonziger and his family, plus a huge thanks and bravo to everyone who refused to shut up about this egregious miscarriage of justice. And we can't let up now. Today was a big win, but the struggle to hold Chevron accountable is still not over.
BREAKING: Danbury prison officials released me this morning to serve the rest of my sentence (136 days) at home.  Huge step forward for our campaign -- but the battle for my freedom and to hold @Chevron accountable continues. So grateful.

This will only stop when we commit to stopping it.
The House members who voted to increase the Pentagon budget by $37 billion took nearly 3 times more campaign cash from weapons companies than those who voted against the increase: stephensemler.substack.com/p…

The world now governed by an 18th Century paradigm of aristocrats i.e. corporate oligarchs and monarchs i.e. autocratic leaders. We need all-systems pushback on behalf of democracy and economic justice.

No we should not.
My simple question is, why in the world would the United States reward a regime that has caused such pain in Yemen with more weapons. The answer is we should not.
