Like someone dangling a piece of food in front of a hungry child. And it's not like *he* didn't receive taxpayer help at one time. "If they give it to the rich they call it subsidy; if they give it to the poor they call it a handout." - Martin Luther King Jr.

How can there be a Democratic "holdout" who OPPOSES lowering drug prices!?!?! My God.

People with hundreds of billions of dollars dangling the idea that "I *might* help you" in front of people trying their best to save those who are literally starving is despicable and sadistic. #TaxBillionaires

It's not about slicing and dicing. It's about the unconscious ways we skew a narrative.

Media keeps saying Dems had a bad night. Actually, male corporate Dems had a bad night. Female progressive Dems had a good night. #EndTheErasure

No, corporate Dems don't. Progressive Dems do. But the corporate Dems won't let them do it.

This is so disappointing. Her own party turned against her even after she won the primary.
It appears Byron Brown will win re-election after losing the Democratic primary to India Walton. He ran an unprecedented write-in campaign and it probably paid off.

Yup. Funniest thing about that.
I can't believe not canceling student debt, not passing parental leave, not doing anything on health care, not raising the min wage, not taxing billionaires, not cutting military spending, not passing universal pre-K and not passing voter rights didn't want Democrats more votes

I do agree, but I also understand when not voting is itself a passive form of resistance.

FL CD-20. With all precincts counted, businesswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick has apparently defeated Broward Co Comm Dale Holness by 31 votes. It will head to automatic recount. Overseas military ballots postmarked by today will count, but there usually are very few late ones.

Wonderful.
Progressive Michelle Wu, a genuine progressive, is winning 56 percent of the vote in the Boston mayoral race. She’s run with enthusiastic support from her former professor, Elizabeth Warren.
