What a guy.
Sen. Manchin's newly filed campaign finance report shows his campaign coffers are full of out-of-state oil and gas industry contributions: wvgazettemail.com/news/energ…

I don’t think that’s true. In fact I know it’s not. But money in politics and corrupted politicians have allowed this inequity and it has to stop. In many ways we the people allowed it over the last forty years and it’s time to nonviolently push back.

How can billionaires have a problem with paying a tax that won’t diminish the quality of their own life in the slightest way, and that will go to improve the quality of life for millions of others? #WealthTax

Untrue. No legitimate account has said that.

That is absolutely untrue. Even he didn’t say that! The second man saw him shoot someone and was trying to stop him.

According to the Constitution we have the *legal right to protest* (the people he killed were NOT looting); according to the dictionary people who kill people are called *murderers*: and the people they kill are called *victims*. This judge should be removed from the case.
The judge in Kyle Rittenhouse's trial says lawyers cannot call the 2 people he killed "victims." Rittenhouse killed 2 people and wounded another with an AR-15 style weapon. The judge says "victim" is too "loaded" but will let lawyers call them "rioters, looters or arsonists."

Such mean and miserly attitudes. So much for “public servants.”
The outstanding issues have become clear: - 4 weeks paid leave (Manchin opposes) - Medicare vouchers for dental (Manchin opposes) - Medicaid expansion (Manchin opposes) - Rx drug pricing (Sinema opposes) - And how to pay for it nbcnews.com/politics/congres…

You can’t see humanity on the verge of repeating some big mistakes here?

So important. If we would spend much more on what happens in the first years of life we’d spend much, much less on problems that develop later on.
The U.S. is an outlier in its low levels of financial support for young children’s care. Rich countries contribute an average of $14,000 per year for a toddler’s care, compared with $500 in the U.S. nyti.ms/3GgXjDA

Slowly but surely, even mainstream media is waking up to how wrong this is. #FreeDonziger

You don’t know that. Back alley illegal abortions are not recorded.

I believe abortion is a moral issue but it’s a moral decision that should be decided by the individual woman and not by the government. Outlawing abortions will hardly decrease their numbers, it will simply invite back the scourge of botched abortions by which so many women died

They will leave it to the states, for sure. But many of the states will go the way of Texas on this.

The repeal of Roe v. Wade - and for all intents and purposes that’s what we’re headed for - will have deep & painful effects on this society. It will add a layer of stress & anxiety to the lives of millions of people at a time when more stress & anxiety is the last thing we need.
