No, I would stop multi-billion dollar corporate subsidies, tax the very rich, cut military spending by 1/3. Stop the pretense that it “costs too much” to treat people to what they’re seen to deserve in countries doing better than ours. What we’re doing now is costing us our lives

It’s so funny when people act like an agenda that serves people is “giving everything away.” What do you think we’re doing right now to Big Oil, defense contractors, the ultra rich & huge corporations, etc., if not “giving everything away?”

And you want multi billion dollar subsidies to Big Oil and other multi billion dollar corporate entities, a massively overinflated military budget, and huge tax cuts for the very rich. Those are your ponies and that is your chocolate ice cream. I’m not the irresponsible one here

That’s like saying that if we legalize marijuana and release people in prison who are serving time for petty marijuana offenses, that’s punishing everyone who already did. It’s ridiculous. We should always be happy for people who don’t have to suffer as we once did.

If we had done that from the beginning of Covid the threat would be done by now and it would no longer be necessary.

That’s not a dark truth, it’s a dark illusion. The French Revolution is so not the answer.

Not at all. Just suggests that it’s corrupt and we need to work hard to fix it. Other generations had to face big hauls and they did it. We can too.

If they gave $2k/mo. til Covid ends, raised min. wage, passed Med4All, gave free college & cancelled the college loan debt, they’d be sailing to an easy victory. They’d rather lose then repair the fundamental economic injustice now built into the system. nytimes.com/2021/10/08/opini…

I don’t think electoral politics is a dead end. It’s corrupt, but it’s only a dead end if we don’t rise up to override the corruption.

Scientists at the National Institutes of Health worked with the company to develop the vaccine & the US paid $1.3 billion for clinical trials and other research. But Moderna slowpedaling vaccines to poorer countries & Moderna’s two founders are now among the 400 richest Americans
